Recycling garnet minimizes abrasive costs for customers whilst maintaining high quality sandblasting performance you can expect with new RZG Garnet. The systems are fully customizable in order to fit different customer's situation. RZG will even provide recycling systems for free for certain large garnet sandblasting customers.

Rizhao Garnet Ltd (RZG) as the name implies, is a new rising global leading manufacturer and supplier of Industrial garnet abrasive beginning in 2009. A major strength of the company is the huge size of its garnet deposits and therefore, its ability to supply the market with a safe, reliable, consistent for a long time. RZG has discovered and acquired three exceptionally large (over 250 million tons totally counting over 85% of total China discovered garnet reserve) garnet deposits grading over 80%.

All these three properties were intensively explored for Rutile in the 1980s by several major exploration companies. The high grade garnet content was discovered at the time.

These three most favorable eclogite deposits are the Rizhao Mine, Weifang mine in Shandong Province and Lianyungang Mine in Jiangsu province, which are all in Sulu UHP Metamorphic belt, one of the 28 UHP Metamorphic belts that is largest in size and best protected. In addition to garnet, also contains some million tons of Rutile. The presence of rutile will significantly reduce the cost of the garnet product to a level which competitive with common abrasive for sandblasting application, like coal slag, copper slag, nickel slag, glass beads, silica and etc.

The garnets in all our three deposits are all rock almandine (almandite) variety with a hardness of 7.5 and S.G 4.0. It crushed into sharp angled, chunky fragments ideally suited for aggressive blasting.

The establishment of our first dry processing plant in Rizhao in 2009 was a significant milestone in establishing the production of RZG Rock Garnet as high quality abrasive with high mineral purity and proper quality control. Around 30 employees are working in our production plant on more than 59000 square meters.

The plant has undergone various technical and equipment upgrades to keep up with the increasing demand for RZG Rock Garnet with substantial investments were made.

Available RZG Rock Garnet is in various sizes from coarse, medium to fine mesh.
RZG crushed rock garnet abrasives mainly serve your sandblasting (surface preparation) and waterjet cutting application.
As general purpose blasting abrasive, RZG Garnet is one of the few abrasive that is specified and preferred by leading corrosion engineers, particularly on such specialized application as:
- Shipping building and offshore rig construction and maintenance
- Construction of chemical plants, power stations, mining and processing equipment, gas and sewerage plants, desalination and industrial plants.
- Construction in the building industry and structural steel.
- Construction and maintenance of containers and tanks, tank trucks and rail tanks, as well as wagons and coaches.
- Stone building facades and monuments.-Stainless Steel.
- Rubber lining of tanks and vessels
- Suppression chambers of nuclear power projects
- Linings of scrubbers and stacks

RZG high-performance crushed rock garnet abrasive is well suited to a broad spectrum of waterjet cutting application. Our full grades hard rock garnet waterjet abrasives set the standard for performance and cost-effective waterjet cutting.

RZG Garnet has been proved to be perfect water filtration media as well.

Additional markets for garnet include roofing granules, heavy industry floor aggregates and various abrasive usage.
